Biography
Sara O’Shea’s practice is focused on land use and litigation. Prior to working with P. Daniel Hollis III, Sara served as Assistant Law Clerk to Hon. Francesca Connolly in the New York State Supreme Court, Appellate Division, Second Department. While a law student, she was a legal intern at Pace Food and Beverage Law Clinic, Pace Environmental Litigation Clinic, and Scenic Hudson, where she worked with non-profit groups and small businesses to interpret laws and regulations, provide transactional legal services, and advocate for and advise clients. Additionally, she served as a legal intern at the Healthcare Bureau of the New York State Attorney General’s office.
Sara is knowledgeable in the requirements of the State Environmental Quality Review Act, Clean Air Act, and Clean Water Act and has experience handling applications to zoning and planning boards across Westchester County. Sara has also assisted in the litigation and appeal of various civil matters, including mortgage foreclosure actions, defense against adverse possession claims, declaratory judgment actions, and commercial landlord matters.
